來自澳洲的四人搖滾組合the church，擁有悅耳的旋律，流暢的吉他及勁而不亂鼓聲，構成月對的魅力與親和性。
the church於80年在澳洲雪梨組成，"heyday" 是他們的第四張專輯，亦是最成熟的一張，呈現出80年代"新吉他之聲"運動的面貌，恰如專輯的標題"heyday"the church 表現出充沛豐盛的創作力。在內容意識上，the church 意圖勾起年輕一代的共鳴，擺脫刻板的常規、乏味單調的人生。
無可否認，the church的詞曲皆出色，以新音樂與現代詩的結合形式，描述刻劃年輕人的內心世界。雖然不為"排行榜"所接受，但卻受到樂界一致好評。
